Graduate Studies

The Women's and Gender Studies Program offers students the opportunity to pursue a Master's degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with a concentration in Women's and Gender Studies. This differs from the other Interdisciplinary Master's degree at UNT in that students do NOT need to choose three specific areas for their coursework. Instead, they take approved courses from an array offered both in the Program itself and in other departments. All students are required to take WMST 5200 - Contemporary Issues in Global Feminism, as our program focuses on the challenges gender poses for people worldwide. Students are also encouraged to serve internships through the program as these have been beneficial for future employment.
