Membership is open to students who are seeking a Masters in Interdisciplinary Studies with a concentration in Women's & Gender Studies, undergraduate minors in Women's & Gender Studies or any student at the University of North Texas having a strong interest in Women's & Gender Studies and having achieved second semester standing with at least 6 hours of approved Women's & Gender Studies courses with a GPA of at least 3.0.

All members must complete a designated number of volunteer hours each semester. The Council will vote and decide on the number of hours at the beginning of each academic semester. Volunteerism, along with advocacy and activism, are encouraged as integral to the promotion of the feminist values central to Women's Studies.

  • Complete the application below.
  • Attach a copy of your current transcript.
  • Include a check for $20 payable to Iota Iota Iota.
  • Send these materials to Iota Iota Iota, Women's & Gender Studies Program, GAB 467, University of North Texas.
