New graduate seminar offered in Summer 2012

The Women's Studies Program will be offering a new graduate seminar in Summer 2012: "Global Reproductive Politics and Policies" (WMST 5800.001). What is reproductive outsourcing? Is international adoption a good option? What are the social and political implications of China's one-child policy? Why is the maternal death rate higher in the US than in most Western countries? The seminar will cover these questions and many more. Class will meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays, 5:30-9:20 pm during Summer 5W1 (June 4-July 6, 2012).
