Unapologetically reclaiming the stage as a place for healing and protest, performance artist and poet Edyka Chilomé reflects on the need to offer the world intersectional narratives. Speaking from her experience as an indigenous Xicana and Central American queer woman, Edyka Chilomé offers her perspective on transformation and activism as a culture producer from the margins. From street protests to professional theater productions and literary publications, Edyka shares the ways she has reclaimed her peoples' ancient traditions of resistance as scribe, storyteller, and spiritual {art}ivist.
