The Women's Studies Program is a proud co-organizer of the event "Population, Women, and Environment: a Public Dialogue" on Wednesday, March 27, from 5:30 to 8:20 pm, in ENV 125. The event will comprise of presentations and an audience discussion, followed by a workshop (from 7:15 to 8:20). The event will be moderated by Ozlem Altiok, Lecturer in International Studies and Women's Studies at the University of North Texas. Special guests will include Vicky Markham, Director, Center for Environment and Population, Naomi Brodkey, Program Assistant, Sierra Club Global Population and Environment Program (GPEP), Dr. Trish Glazebrook, Chair, Department of Philosophy and Religion Studies at UNT, and Kelly Hart, Director of Public Affairs, Planned Parenthood of Greater Texas.
