The Women's Studies Program is the proud community partner of the screening of the documentary The Punk Singer at this year's Thin Line Film Music Fest. The 80-minute long documentary looks at the life of activist, musician, and cultural icon Kathleen Hanna, who formed the punk band Bikini Kill and pioneered the "riot grrrl" movement of the 1990s.
