Dr. Carrington's teaching and research interests explore the multiple ways that intersecting hierarchies of sexuality, gender, race, class, and immigration status shape both the structural conditions and lived experiences of citizenship and belonging in the United States. They are committed to community-based research projects that seek to address real world problems and needs.
