Sex and World Peace

Lecture by Dr. Valerie Hudson, Professor and George H.W. Bush Chair at The Bush School of Government and Public Service at Texas A&M University.

Dr. Hudson's lecture, entitled "Sex & World Peace", will look at the link between state security and women's security. In the book "Sex & World Peace" which she co-authored, Dr. Hudson proposes that the best predictor of a state's peacefulness is not its wealth, democracy or ethno-religious identity, but its treatment of women. The lecture will be followed by a book signing. For more information, click here.
