Undergraduate Studies

The University of North Texas offers an interdisciplinary minor in women's and gender studies that allows students to design a course of study suited to their own academic interests and needs.

Students in Women's and Gender Studies may interact with more than 30 members of the Women's and Gender Studies affiliated faculty who regularly teach courses examining gender roles, activities, and experiences throughout history and across cultures. These interactions expand understanding of gender differences, cultural diversity, and social changes while strengthening critical thinking and communication skills.
