Join us for the third annual Women's & Gender Studies Research Symposium!

The Women's & Gender Studies Research Symposium is an opportunity for students to present their scholarly work to a larger audience and for attendees to learn more about interdisciplinary scholarship, research methods, and theoretical frameworks emerging from the Women's and Gender Studies field.  The event will conclude with the Women's & Gender Studies Recognition Ceremony, where our most outstanding WGST students will be recognized, graduating students will be honored*, and the 2025 Dr. Marilyn Morris Award will be presented.  Food and refreshments will be provided; Attendance is open to all! 

 
*Graduating students of the WGST and LGBTQ+ Studies programs have the opportunity to be presented with a certificate and graduation cord that can be worn at any UNT commencement ceremony. To be included in the Recognition Ceremony, please RSVP by April 14th.

12:00-1:00: Panel 2 - The Politics of Gender and Sustainability in the Age of Authoritarian Neoliberalism
1:00-1:50: Graduate Student Exit Project Presentations
2:00-2:45: WGST Recognition Ceremony
