Jennifer Way is a professor of Art History at the UNT. Her teaching and scholarly research focus on historical and contemporary methodology, theory, and archives concerning the period since 1900, emphasizing social meanings and uses that people make of art, craft, design, photography, collections, exhibitions, and histories. She is also interested in intersectional research concerning identity, methodologies of feminism as well as queering, and relationships of visual and material art with gender. Her current publication projects examine craft and wars of the 20th and 21st centuries as well as craft as a therapeutic modality of wellness and healing.
