The Women's and Gender Studies Program Undergraduate Scholarships

These are one-year scholarships for Women's and Gender Studies minors. They require a minimum GPA of 3.5, with a minimum of 9 completed hours of Women's and Gender Studies courses, and a cover letter describing any honors and activities (both academic and non-academic) that show your high level of responsibility and commitment to Women's and Gender Studies. The letter should include specific examples. Recipient must be registered for at least 12 semester hours at the time any part of the scholarship is received. (Amount: $1,000.)

Payments and Requirements

The scholarships are paid in two installments (fall and spring). The following qualifications apply to these scholarships:

• Applicants must have a 3.5 GPA on all college work completed
• The continuation of scholarships into the second semester is contingent upon a student's maintaining a GPA of 3.5 in at least 12 semester hours of course work and making at least a B in each Women's Studies class.
